The function of 80 gms is to streamline the gases at the inlet and outlet in the cylinder while injecting the fuel. The cylinder head also seals the lower block so that the compression can build up in the cylinders for optimal combustion.

The head machining is the most complex part of an internal combustion engine giving the number of rotating and moving parts. Also, many parts are mounted on 80 gms such as the intake and exhaust manifold, the camshafts, and the valves. When installing new 80 gms to your auto engine, it's also important to set up new cylinder head gaskets, and some new bolts or nuts as these latter are extensible and/or disposable. If your old cylinder is worn or damaged, we advise you to replace it with one of our 80 gms. This is more cost-effective (because we offer competitive prices) than to port and polish heads on your own or sending them to a machining shop.
